Daisy settled into her new life quickly. She applied for a part-time job as a manual laborer, although the first shift wasn’t for several days. She planted her very first plant and watered it. Then she planted another and another. The people of Willow Creek were quite friendly and soon Daisy had several acquaintances. She discovered others who shared her interests of gardening and fishing and with her neighbor Summer Holiday’s encouragement, Daisy formed her own club: Bait and Blossom. They met often to tend her ever-growing garden and try their luck at catching fish from the canal behind her property.
Was it Daisy’s dream that fueled her increasing her gardening, fishing, and cooking skills? Perhaps it was a benefit of living in a tiny home. Maybe that mysterious Ethren of “The Realm” was truly looking out for her. Whatever it was, Daisy’s skills increased rapidly.

Her garden flourished and her friendships bloomed. Summer moved out and a new family from Mt. Komorebi moved in. The teen son was friendly although the rest were aloof, and he joined the club. Soon Daisy was preparing delicious meals from the fish she’d caught and the harvestables she grew. Life was good!
