With its dramatic red rocks against brilliant blue sky, StrangerVille has attracted artists, recluses, and developers alike. Once home to a small population of Sims, legend has it that Gregory Landgraab was one of the first outsiders to promote the area. Route Simsty-Six was built to connect StrangerVille with Oasis Springs and greater SimNation.
This desert town has gone through many changes. Route Simsty-Six brought tourists to the area, but when the SRTS was built, most Sims stopped taking those leisurely road trips. Now, the highway is littered with abandoned motels, gas stations, and roadside eateries. The next boom was the building of StrangerVille Base, bringing hundreds of military, support staff, and those to provide services for the base and town. The Plaza area grew in size, and StrangerVille was again a booming town. However, after the “near cataclysmic event,” much of it needed to be rebuilt. The rebuilding is a slow process with heated debates slowing down construction as various factions have different visions of what StrangerVille’s future looks like.
Take a tour of StrangerVille Plaza and Shady Acres as you visit the different lots in this interesting community. Although the locals will tell visitors everything is back to “normal,” life is still a little strange in StrangerVille!
