Feed, change, cuddle, put to sleep. In a few hours repeat. That is the life with a newborn. Since Ned worked nights, he cared for the baby during the day while Daisy worked and napped while the baby napped. Daisy woke up with the baby, fed, changed, cuddled her, then tended the garden before work. They were griding but knew it wouldn’t last too long.
Daisy and Ned even had a date night on Love Day. Ned gave his wife a daisy and they headed across the street to the cafe.

Soon it was Buttercup’s birthday: she was a toddler, and they hoped life would be easier.
It was. Buttercup was a good toddler. She learned to talk, walk, and use the potty. She enjoyed listening to stories, and somehow befriended the Flower Bunny. Daisy and Ned didn’t have much couple time, but their work schedules allowed them to care for Buttercup without having to send her to daycare. Her toddlerhood flew by quickly.

Soon, it was Buttercup’s birthday again. Daisy baked a birthday cake and decorated while Ned played with Buttercup.
