Transportation

A major undertaking, the SimNation Rapid Transit System (SNRTS) connects the various worlds and neighborhoods within SimNation. The SNRTS consists of trolleys, streetcars, the Sims Rapid Transit Passenger Railway, which includes high speed rail lines (HSRTS) from San Myshuno to neighboring worlds, as well as a network of ferries.

From either the Fashion District or Uptown San Myshuno Stations, the HSRTS runs west to Oasis Springs with a stop in Del Sol Valley. The northbound line runs to Britechester, while the eastern line travels inland to Newcrest then along the southeastern coast to Willow Creek. From Willow Creek, passengers can board the SRT passenger line northbound to Brindleton Bay with a final stop in Granite Falls. Unfortunately for Evergreen Harbor, the new rail line bypassed the world. Sims can still use the RTS from Newcrest for travel to and from the world, but within the world, travel is limited.

San Myshuno is also home to the San Myshuno International Airport, SimNation’s only internation airport. Daily flights to the Old Country, Mt. Komorebi, Sulani, and Selvadorada are available through SNART (SimNation Air Rapid Transport). Additionally, CAL (Cordelia Air Lines) flies to the Modern District in the Old Country. From the Modern District, international travelers can take a teleporflight to Henford-on-Bagley or a boat to the Crumbling Isle in Windenburg.

MKAL is a high-tech air-transport line to Mt. Komorebi with two airports: Yukimatsu or Wakaba.

Travel to Sulani can be leisurely or high-speed. Visitors to the Resort often choose to depart from San Myshuno International Airport, but there are also cruises available.

Selvadorada Air flies tourists into its sleek new airport on the outskirts of La Madre, the main city in Selvadorada. From there, visitors take a shuttle to one of the hydroboats which travel down the Cosecha River to Puerto Llamante Marketplace. There are no vehicles other than bicycles in Old Selvadorada, the only part of the country open to tourists and visitors.
